"The Good Side of Things" is John Tyler's first debut album after releasing two mixed-tapes "True Art" & "True Love" and EP "No Color".

Unlike John's previous projects, where he musically and artistically shared his story of life's challenges, this album released a fresh perspective of finding light in the middle of darkness. The album takes on a radio-theme and incorporates a combo of commercials, radio call outs, and skits to make the listener feel like they're listening to a actual radio station. Overall, this project spreads positivity with songs like "Joy", Smile More", "Hold On", "Sunshine", and "Celebrate".
